Libertarians and reactionaries might be considered by some to be odd allies, but I have found that the gulf between anarcho-capitalism and monarchism is in many ways not a wide one. Certainly, Lew Rockwell et al. are exceeded in their contempt for egalitarianism only by us monarchists, and not even, indeed, by all of us. With that in mind, I present libertarian forefather Murray Rothbard’s 1991 introduction to his book Freedom, Inequality, Primitivism, and the Division of Labor.
